Job Description

Assists Program Manager(s) in the accurate completion of all quoting and estimating for the new and repeat customers in a timely manner. Assists in the administration of customer purchase orders. Retrieve purchase orders from customer portals, where required, and assist in overseeing the execution of company sales orders. Monitor and measure quoting effectiveness and report to management. Lead by example and display the qualities needed to meet and exceed these goals. Work with all departments as a team member to focus upon the goals established by the company. Continual improvement of the quoting process. Other duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • General understanding of business accounting
  • General marketing and sales experience
  • General MRP experience
  • General understanding of AS9100 quality systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience/Skills

  • General knowledge of CAD systems and N/C programming
  • Two years' experience in manufacturing environment
  • General understanding of GD&T and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of machine and mold shop practices and procedures
  • Understanding of materials, both metals and plastic

Education

  • College degree or equivalent experience
