Job Description

Local Aerospace Manufacturing Company is looking for a Project & Quoting Specialist to perform estimating, quoting and administrative tasks that will support our sales team. The Project & Quoting Specialist will oversee the administration of customer purchase orders, enter appropriate sales information into the computer system and maintain appropriate contact with customers. Also, this position is a liason between several departments such as engineering, quality and manufacturing. If you have college level class work in accounting, math or business and are interested in gaining relevant experience, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our Sales Department run smoothly and assist in delivering quality products on time to our customers. Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Access customer portals to obtain purchase order information
  • Distribute information regarding orders to Program Managers
  • Assist in quoting process and customer specifications
  • Establish Sales Orders in ERP system
  • Communicate information to Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing departments as needed to coordinate customer requirements
  • Assist in ensuring production processes maintain technical compliance with customer needs
  • Other duties relating to customer service, quality management, cost accounting and program management

Experience/Skills

  • Familiarity with technical blueprints, GD&T and technical drawings
  • Knowledge about plastics and metal materials
  • General knowledge about CAD system and N/C Programming
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and ERP software
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
  • Work experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Knowledge of basic engineering, manufacturing and sales procedures

Education

  • BS/BA or Associate's degree in Math, Business, Engineering or Accounting or equivalent work experience

Ability to Commute or Relocate

It is essential that you’re able to reliably commute to our office in Cisco, Texas, or that you’re planning to relocate before starting work.
