Abilene, Texas & Cisco, Texas – Big Country Manufacturing Alliance (BCMA) is pleased to announce the selection of Allison Morales as one of six area students to receive a scholarship for fall 2023 in partnership with RAM Inc. High school seniors and current students attending area colleges and universities are eligible to apply for scholarships annually. BCMA was able to triple the number of scholarship awards this year from two to six through partnerships with DCOA (Development Corporation of Abilene), RAM Inc., Rentech Boilers and US Gypsum.

Scholarship recipients and their families were recognized at a reception on Tuesday, March 28 at the Community Foundation of Abilene. Morales, a senior at Comanche High School, plans to study Agricultural Engineering at Tarleton State University in fall 2023. “We’re so pleased to partner with BCMA to award this scholarship to Allison. As an employer in a small community, we believe it’s important to support local students like Allison who represent our future workforce,” said Richard Williams, CEO of RAM Inc. “I’m excited for this upcoming journey, and I want to thank my family and friends for being there for me,” said Morales.

BCMA supports the stability and growth of manufacturing in the Big Country through focusing on business-education partnerships and promoting business to business connections. To learn more, please visit bcmatexas.org or email info@bcmatexas.org.
