Cisco, Texas – Research and Advanced Methods (RAM), Inc., a 30+ year company specializing in high precision aerospace and defense manufacturing, today announces the signing of a Life of Program (LOP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Parker Aerospace, an operating Group of Parker Hannifin Corporation to supply multiple subassembly parts for the Javelin Missile Control Actuation System. RAM, Inc. has been a Sub-tier supplier to the Javelin Joint Venture program since 1994 manufacturing flight control and subassembly mechanical thermoplastic and alloy parts for the Javelin Missile system.

RAM, Inc. has invested heavily in preparation for this contract and the significant anticipated increase in annual ship-set volume. Over the last two years RAM has added capacity through acquisition of multiple high precision NC Mill, Lathe and Injection Mold machines and upgraded control systems. Further, RAM has invested in our Operating Team through Leadership and Teamwork training through Cisco College and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing training (GD&T) through Texas State Technical College. These investments have added to our operating team’s effectiveness and adds value within our Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.

“RAM is proud to support the critical mission of our US military.” Richard Williams, CEO of RAM, Inc. states “We recognize the importance of our work with the Javelin missile system as it continues to prove itself as a precision weapon system for the U.S. military and allied partners.” With increased global needs and demands, volume is forecasted to continue to grow. At midvolume projections this multi-million-dollar contract will create meaningful impact to RAM’s operating team, their families, and the broader Cisco, Texas community.
